After removing the series of barricades I had made, hoping I could contain Morghen, I went and closed off the doorway he had got in from. The idea was a good one, but it was clear now that I was jumping the gun on this. I needed to learn how to protect the entrances before building them, or this place was no safer than the outside world.
When I got back to the others, everyone but the Gods and Beasts looked worried. I supposed that they knew just as well that Morghen could have killed all of us if he really wanted to. That thought was terrifying, but even more so after fighting Akasha, and only barely winning because she was the weakest of the Beasts, and nothing compared to a God.
"Is everything okay?" Lily asked, and I nodded.
