Kapitel 48: Night of Stars III

The explosion tore open the clouds, tearing a gaping hole through the ceiling of the moonlit hall. Ash fluttered, flitting back and forth like a whirlwind, falling upon the school below like snow. 

The sounds of crying children resounded through the skies, startling Darrian for half a beat before he erupted into laughter. He glanced at Avara, licking his lips. 

"I'm going to kill you first," he assured her, reaching into his pocket for a small medallion that bore the head of a dragon, baring its fangs. 

The Professors all recognized the medallion turning fairly pale. Professor Ian practically dropped Aurelia, pointing his sword toward the man. "Darrian! Stop this bloody madness! Summoning a Dragon could potentially kill thousands. Think of the city below! Think of the lives!"
