Kapitel 256: Memorial Day

The memorial service proceeded in a solemn manner.

Despite his young age and status as an exorcist in training, Chen Ru was eventually buried in the cemetery for martyrs, signifying a great honor for perishing in the front line of defense against a demon. 

Rather than calling it a cemetery, the place looked more like a beautiful garden, with lush canopy of trees shading the glaring sunlight and soft, neatly trimmed grass beneath their feet. One could even call it a paradise, a perfect final resting place for the weary souls. 

The area was spacious enough to accommodate fifty people at most, and right now, nearly every corner was occupied. 

Leading the liturgy was Father Ning, Chen Ru's teacher.
