Kalliēl lowered his gaze, slightly lost in thought as Song Juwei experienced yet another mental breakdown over the past three days. Outside, the sky opened up in a torrential downpour that soaked the whole city in its bone-chilling coldness, blending perfectly with the despairing cries akin to the melancholic finale of a tragic play.
