We had to land our ship outside the ship-turned-base of the smugglers since there wasn't exactly a place to dock on the ship itself.
I tugged on the spacesuit as the doors cycled closed to vent out the air in preparation of opening us out into space.
"Ready?" I asked Mara who was similarly dressed beside me.
She gave me a wry smile from behind her helmet, "Isn't it a little too late to ask a question like that?"
I suppose that's true… Although I would say the option of just turning around and flying off still exists but I'll just keep my mouth shut.
I activated the airlocks and the door cycled open, revealing the barren landscape of the asteroid in front of us.
Amber was already outside in her own spacesuit waiting for her like always.
Seriously, I have a feeling she just wants to make sure she's always the first I see when exiting my ship if she wasn't with me to begin with.
Captain's Log:
Wait... Mara's a Psionic all this time?
