Finn and his two friends entered the forest outside the walls of the academy city.

Sprinting between the trees, the three of them, under Finn's lead, headed towards the location where the competition of the first years would be held.

As they sprinted through the trees and grass, they were on guard. In case any beasts attack them.

Though it was unlikely for a beast to be this far off the outer layer of the forest, almost to the city walls, Finn and the others could not afford not to be careful. They were not powerful enough yet to ignore the beasts in the 1-star warrior realm.

As they ran through the forest, Elttil's words rang through Finn's mind.

'When the teachers arrive at the area with the students, we will scan the area. After the scan, we will place a barrier. You only have a little gap of time when the scan ends, and we place the barrier. You enter then.'
