Kapitel 45: A Month Later

In a blink of an eye, a month passed.

In the month that passed, Alden's days consisted of a simple routine. He got up. Went to classes, and after classes, he went to the library with Chloe. Then, late at night, he returned to his room and meditated.

He slept only once in three days, while the rest of the nights he meditated.

Unfortunately, Alden did not have results in the training for coating the dagger with spiritual energy. Nor did he master the dual swords martial arts. He barely made any progress. He had no time to practice. He was preoccupied with reading.

But his mental energy did grow considerably. It almost grew tenfold. The mental core, which was the size of a ball 20 centimeters (8 inches) in diameter, has now grown to the size of a ball with 2 meters (6.5 feet) in diameter. Still, it grew too slowly, and it needed a lot of effort.
