The Mages were scattered throughout the area, except for one direction behind Zeus. It seemed as though they were sending a signal to Zeus and Poseidon, indicating that there was still a chance for them to turn back.
Zeus glanced at the Mages before him, all ready to unleash their spells at a moment's notice.
With a lazy sigh, he turned to Poseidon and said, "I don't have the time to deal with them. I'll let you play with them."
As Zeus finished speaking, bolts of lightning flickered around his body. He moved forward with astonishing speed, leaving the Mages unable to even comprehend his movements. All they saw was a streak of lightning whizzing past them.
In the blink of an eye, Zeus had gone past the Mages and now stood at the entrance of the palace.
He withdrew his hand from his pocket and extended his finger towards the door. With a touch, the door was sent flying off its hinges, shattering into countless pieces in the distance.
