Everyone watching the fight imagined Yu Jia's sword landing a deciding strike on Xiyadie's neck, heart, and solar plexus simultaneously. The fight was over... or so they thought.

However, not only Yu Jia, but everyone else, including Quinlan and Xu Mei, got a surprise. Xiyadie, with her eyes shut tight, caught the blade between her knee and elbow like a vice grip!

The sword's path wasn't any of the three images it was showing, but somewhere in the middle, aiming for the center of Xiyadie's chest. And to her surprise, Xiyadie pinpointed its position without even using her eyes.

Xiyadie herself was surprised, as she could hear the confused voice in front of her.

An instant later, her posture crumbled, and she ended up letting go of the sword. Yu Jia took the chance to move as soon as she got free. Both sides didn't come up with another attack but instead jumped back to increase the distance between them to roughly ten meters.
