Kapitel 216: Sulky Zhang Xuan

A long groan of discomfort escaped Xiang Ling's lips as she knocked her fists lightly against the sore muscles of her back. Using a spell to change into a comfortable nightdress, she poured herself a cup of warm water and drank it before making her way to the bed.

She merely made it under the blankets when the door of her room opened after a few knocks and Zhang Xuan stepped inside.

The man closed the door behind him and made his way to where Xiang Ling was now sitting on the bed. Once he was there, he placed the bowl of soup he brought on the bedside table and then settled down on the edge of the bed while facing her.

"Why are you here? Where's Ah Guang?" Xiang Ling asked curiously when she saw him bringing the soup for her instead of Wei Guang.

"He's in his room. I forbade him from visiting you tonight." Zhang Xuan answered as he picked up the bowl of soup and started blowing on it to cool it down a little bit.
