The dwarf sat back down comfortably as he grabbed his glasses off the floor. He slowly put them back on his nose and looked at each of them.
"Ah…the disappearances. It's been two months since they started, and it has been hell ever since. Everything had been going like usual until one day, the first member of the miners had gone missing. Then, another…the next day…and it kept going and going and going."
The old dwarf was clearly sad as he told them his story. He had lost people dear to him, and it was showing.
"We decided to close the mine for a little. We asked for help from the king, and he sent it, but once they had gone down inside the cave. There was nothing. There were no dead bodies, no monsters…there was simply nothing. So, they decided to use another strategy. The miners went to work just as usual, and the guards escorted them inside…but this time, nothing happened. No one had disappeared."
