Kapitel 72: Lifetime Revelation

Raul Brayden started darting his eyes about the small dark room because of the question Max threw at him. The increasing temperature of the small space wasn't making his unsettled feeling anything less as droplets of sweat formed on his forehead.

If anything, this was a horror fattened question that no child ever asked him. His father was dead but just to imagine his skull on the dressing mirror of his room echoed a chilling feeling through his spine.

He somewhat wished he didn't console Max about Dhanesh's demise.

"Please, the two of you should kindly excuse us." Raul spoke while still darting his eyes.

Outside the dark room, the two standing vampire guards turned around and left the entire place so that even Max's vampiric ears couldn't catch the sounds of their matching feet anymore.
