Robert's companions finally caught up with him, and the two sides didn't waste time to fearlessly clash in order to battle out their old rivalry. It was time for some wolves to bathe in some hot blood.
And of course! fresh blood began spilling as sharp claws mercilessly tore hard skins mixed with furs;
Fangs biting and breaking tough bones;
Yanking and dispatching healthy limbs mixed with growls of satisfaction;
The voices would have sounded pleasing to the ears of a maniac warrior:
Yells!
Cries!!
ROARS!!
HOLLERS!!!
For he hated such situations and hated to behave like a coward, Max had another option than to join the bloody party: Successfully hiding in a corner so that nothing happening could reach out to him. Annoyingly, particularly, a random Blue Force had clinged to his whereabouts inside the battle warehouse.
It wasn't Robert actually, nor Gold, but just a random stubborn guy.
'I have to get rid of him or he gets rid of me. How annoying.'
Max had to close his eyes and open them again. Standing in a hidden corner, the two eyes glowed red nonstop.
[You have suppressed your human side for the time being]
[You have completely given in to your Vampire side]
'This life sucks!' Walking back to the battle space with a bloodlust vibe, he saw the clingy guy smirking at him like saying: "Yummy! Welcome back!". Next, the guy shifted into the Hunch form, people behind him killing one another, his blue fur peeking through the holes of his skin.
Max's thoughts box was calm:
'Here is one of the reasons why I must find a way to become a human again.' He used his supernatural speed to the fullest to reach the guy. 'I can't continue this kind of life.'
The Blue Force showed Max the advantage of his battlefield experience by simply stepping backwards to dodge the series of inexperienced claws attacks aimed at him.
Max wasn't a fighter and knew nothing about fighting because for his whole life he had securities taking care of his safety. He was the heir of the Everett wealth, so why would he need to learn how to fight? For that reason, he looked like a rat who was clumsily trying to survive.
Nothing good about his desperate moves.
'I can't continue living like this... exposed to the conflicts of clashing supernatural monsters and being treated like a mere existence!'
Claw!
Claw!
"Ah am Max Everett! Ah must not be treated like some random trash!"
Successfully clawing the guy's face for the first time, "All ah wanted was t'find Evelyn!" Max screamed as he clawed his enemy's face once more. "None of y'all can stop me!" He delivered a blow with all his strength, a blow that was easily blocked by the target.
Having a bored face, "Sooo... screaming was all you got?" The guy chuckled at Max, his face in his own blood. In the next second, he was mid air flying before his leg swiped someone's body diagonally.
The hitten body safely and freely flew through several deadly attacks. Hitting two rivals that were engaged in a serious battle of ending each other's lives, the three bodies tumbled together and fell down.
'Ouhch! That… was… very strong. Was it a wood? What a strong wood.'
Looking ahead of him curiously as he pushed up the upper part of his body from the floor, Max's face expressed horror as a certain hunched, fat, black Werewolf simultaneously dealt with his earlier enemy plus another Werewolf in blue fur: Gold.
Gold was as blood lusty as his eyes seemed to look like. In not up to less than half a minute, those Blue Forces struggling to run away from him for their precious lives had their rib cages opened apart respectively.
That was disgusting! His shirtless torso got covered in their dark-red blood, his whole body was also in blood, their hearts still beating in his closed fists, and as he grinned, his golden teeth flashed in Max's direction.
'No. No. No.'
Gold's blood lusty eyes looking at Max directly — his heavy steps coming in Max's direction — he said in scary whispers, "You brought Robert here. All yours. The fault is all yours."
"No. Ah didn't do that!"
[You have successfully summoned Void Emotion]
And then,
And right then,
All Max could lastly remember was a fat fist punching him that knocked him out immediately and instantly. Void Emotion remained on Max's face as Gold stood over his "peacefully" sleeping body, the chaos still ongoing.
★★★
'I must find a way to become human...'
His breathing was faint.
'...I must protect Evelyn from Lucas.'
[Warning: You have lost so much blood]
[You are low on Blood Time]
[Your Vampire body alarmingly needs human blood for better functioning]
[Blood Time: 24h: 14m: 6s remaining]
Opening his eyes after what seemed like who knows for how long, Max blinked twice before his iris adjusted to the dim, cold light. He tried moving his hands but unfortunately they were both tied behind him. To
move his legs standing on a stool was also impossible due to similar reason, thus he sluggishly looked up:
He looked up to see men in blue hanging by their heads, their legs freely dangling in the air. Some of their dead bodies were performing simple harmonic motion while some of them were beginning to smell bad as they underwent the test of time.
Max's voice echoed saying, "What... What carnage's this?" He couldn't close his mouth due to shock. Their number in rows and columns went on, and on, and on, and on…
'I can remember most of their faces.' he thought as he realized encircling his neck was a similar robe used to hang those Blue Forces that went against Gold.
After some minutes, the gone away trance of shock allowed him to start processing his thoughts rationally. 'Who is this fat fool trying to kill a Vampire Slave for goddamn's sake?' he thought with a crazy smile, and a crazily widened eyes.
Of course, in some words, Vampire Slaves couldn't die. In other words, they were almost undeads. However, they would continuously experience the moment which could normally kill in a way that if Max was to be hanged as well, he would feel like dying continuously unless he was freed. Thus probably, he might need Lucas to heal him after such torture.
Needless to say, the true secrets to how they die was known only to Lucas, the Five Horse Men, and the Seven Holy Flowers.
Seconds silently ticked;
Minutes casually passed;
And hours passed in muteness;
Until Max heard someone coming:
Looking with keenness, he saw the last man he hoped to see but badly wanted to speak with at this moment: Gold.
