As the echoes of Karna's challenge faded into the ether, a hushed silence descended upon the celestial assembly. The deities held their breath, their eyes fixed on the unfolding confrontation between mortal and god, also wondering how Indra would respond.
Indra's expression darkened with fury, his divine aura pulsating with unrestrained power. In his hand, the Vajra gleamed with ominous light, a harbinger of divine retribution.
The next second, Indra disappeared from the throne room in Devlok and almost simultaneously, a huge projection appeared in the dark clouds above Karna and Aryan.
"Know your place, mortal," Indra thundered, his voice resounding with divine authority. "To wield Brahmastra is to court destruction, and to challenge me is to invite your own demise. You have committed two unforgivable sins at the same time. "
But Karna remained undaunted, his resolve unshaken by Indra's ominous warning. He stood tall, his eyes blazing with defiance, as he prepared to face the might of the Godking.
"Indradev, I seek not conflict, but justice."
Karna declared, his voice ringing clear and true, and explained his motive without any ambiguity, so as not to create any misunderstanding.
"Queen Dushala lies gravely wounded, her life hanging in the balance. I call upon you to help us and heal her. After all, she was injured while fighting Devlok's foreign enemies, under your own instructions. Unfortunately, I had no other way to seek your attention so I had to resort to such drastic measures. "
The celestial realm trembled with the weight of Karna's words, his plea resonating with unwavering conviction.
