As Monday morning dawns, Carla arrives home after a long, demanding shift at the hospital. The late afternoon sun casts a warm glow over the apartment as she opens the door, the familiar comfort of home embracing her. Quietly, she slips off her shoes and makes her way to the bedroom, where Derek is still asleep, his rhythmic breathing a soothing sound in the otherwise still room.

She smiles softly at the sight of him, appreciating the peacefulness of the moment. Knowing she needs to freshen up before she can truly relax, Carla heads straight for the bathroom.
