Kapitel 12: Flowers And Wine

Upon arriving home, Marilena places the bags of groceries on the kitchen table. With a sigh of relief, she begins to organise everything in its proper place, storing fresh produce in the refrigerator and non-perishable items in the cupboards. The bottle of wine in the cellar, and the flowers in the center of the dining table. Each movement is made with care, as if the arrangement of the items reflects the order she seeks internally.

With the kitchen now tidy, Marilena feels more centered. She looks at the groceries lined up, thinking about the delicious meals she will prepare. Her mind is made up, and she chooses a menu that will not only feed her body, but also nourish her soul.
