Kapitel 168: Joining the pre-wedding feast

Han Xuelian was sceptical about leaving Han Yijun by himself, but his nephew assured him that he wanted to contemplate many important things away from the commotion of the pre-wedding feast.

The Grandmaster managed to catch up to Chi Cheng's pace before the younger male arrived back at the area of the Ice rink. He caught his dear broken jewel's hand, clasping it tightly in his owl while he walked beside him.

Startled, Chi Cheng breathed a sigh of relief to find that it was the Grandmaster who grabbed his hand.

"What are you doing here?" Chi Cheng asked, preparing himself to scold Han Xuelian. "Weren't you supposed to wait for me at the table?"

The Grandmaster flashed him a cheeky smile and winked mischievously.

"How can a groom sit at the table of a pre-wedding feast without his bride?" Han Xuelian said rhetorically, feigning a sullen pout. "What will the others say if you run off from me?"
