Kapitel 37: More Mysteries

The Grandmaster caressed Chi Cheng's cheek, brushing away the snowflakes that settled on him. The younger male's skin paled, beads of sweat breaking along his forehead. And his expression tensed, brewing more worries for the Grandmaster.

"These souls appeared when you were in that pit…" The Grandmaster contemplated, his brows furrowing. "Are they connected to you? There are too many questions you must answer, Chi Cheng."

Han Xuelian's gaze narrowed at the presence of the two wolves that crept up beside him. With their heads lowered, eyeing the Grandmaster with predatory observation, they began to snarl.

Their master who summoned their aide submitted to unconsciousness, yet their link with him had not yet subsided.

"Why are they here?" The Grandmaster observed them questioningly. "Did they come to aid him…" His eyes trailed back to Chi Cheng. "Is my connection with Xue Ling Ridge growing stronger?"
