"The Smith Corporation is facing problems." With a furrowed brow, Caleb recounted the company's struggles. "Land acquisition issues caused the company's luxury hotel project to stall. Given the involvement of the mafia in this matter, I doubt the problems won't be resolved any time soon."

He shook his head in dismay as he outlined the magnitude of the challenges the Smith Corporation faced. "Mr. Smith invested heavily in this. The company is already facing losses. On top of that, the investors are threatening to pull out. If this project fails, the company could go bankrupt."

As Caleb finished speaking, a tense silence descended. Silas, however, remained impassive, his attention seemingly fixed on the screen of his laptop, and his fingers continued typing away on the keypad as if the dire situation unfolding before him held no sway over his thoughts. His indifference was quite shocking for Caleb.
