Kapitel 98: A long walk

Rosemary's POV:

I am not sure for how long we've been walking anymore. I'd say one hour or a little more than that, but I still don't look at my phone to check. I keep my eyes ahead, mostly on our surroundings but from time to time I throw a glance at him, at his back and I just lose track of my thoughts for some time.

"I don't think we'll see the end of this room any time soon," his voice blares and captures all of my attention. 

"I don't think so either. In fact, I am kind of sure of it," I retort immediately. 

"Then why are we still walking?" he asks.

"Because there's something I need to check first,"
