Kapitel 73: Stealth and secrecy

Rosemary's POV:

"What can you tell me about memory spells?" 

Salina stares at me intently for a moment before standing up and heading towards the front of the shop. I hear the clicking of the lock a few seconds before her figure reemerges from the shadows. She walks past me without a word and makes her way towards the curtains separating her store from her apartment. 

I sit alone in place for a few seconds before following her. I need no pointers as I already know where she is. I guide myself through the hallway leading up to the room she'd shown me the last time I was here.

I catch her hunched over a pile of books in one of the corners. She's blocking the view but from the sounds she's making alone, I can tell she is rummaging through those books like her life depends on it, "Why do you ask?" she doesn't turn around to adresse me.
