Kapitel 54: Treacherous emotions

Rosemary's POV:

The traffic noises, the city lights… Even the winter cold withdraws and fades into the background, becoming but a mumble in the raging ocean of sensation that Nathanael has stirred in me. 

My vision grows blurrier and fuzzier as I stare off into the distance. My mouth agape as breathing through my nose alone seems to no longer be enough to support my agonizing lungs… Though, it's a good kind of agony.

My hearing is sharp and keen for his voice only. That is why he's able to steal little gasps out of me so effortlessly when he brushes his bottom lip against my helix, tracing it all the way down to my earlobe, "I've been wanting to do this to you for days now. Tell me," he nibbles my earlobe gently between breaths, "I can't just do this whenever I want to now, can I?"
