Kapitel 8: Meeting Mysterious Elder
After aria saw him leaving she slowly fell asleep from tiredness.
At night, after alex had dinner with his family he headed straight to his room. During his dinner adam asked him about his preparations for the upcoming exam, he had to take, to enter into the only cultivation school in this village.
This cultivation school basically helps the cultivators to learn skills depending upon the capabilites of the individuals. So when children reach around 15 years of age they take them in through an exam.
If a certain person have the lower scope in cultivation then they will be assigned to work in the farm and if they have higher scope then depending on their preferences some will work in security division for the farm and others will explore forest to collect medicinal herbs.
For the first time after he got to this world he took a look at his cultivation base and he was in the 4th level of elementary realm so as to take the exam he should be in atleast 5th level of elementary realm.
'I still have a month to take the exam maybe if I start cultivating seriously I should be able to break through to 5th level of elementary realm ' thought alex.
Later he sat on his bed and started cultivating with closed eyes. After he cultivated for 3 hours he decided to fell asleep.
After ten days, alex was frustrated as he wasn't able to feel any kind of progress in his cultivation after he cultivated for whole ten days.
'Maybe if I cultivate in a place with richer spiritual qi then I will have a break through' thought alex.
This is when a place popped up in his head. That is the place near the river which is connected to the forest. To be precise inside the forest.
From the memories he received he actually got to know that alex went to that dangerous place to cultivate because of the abundant spiritual qi present over there. That is also where he accidentally fell into the river and died.
After learning this, alex had lunch with his mother and said "Mom iam going out and I will be back in time for dinner". After saying that to ava he practically rushed out of the house.
"Okay but be careful" replied ava with a puzzled face.
'Where is he going?' Thought ava but she know that he promised her that he would be careful.
After 30 minutes of walk, alex was finally at the river where he accidentally fell into and this is also the outskirts of the village and after a 15 more minutes of walk he was in the forest and he sat on the rock and started cultivating.
As it is the entrance of the forest there is a less chance that he might encounter any spiritual beasts. After he cultivated for an hour he can feel a slight increase in his cultivation and he is extremely happy about it.
'If I go a little deeper into the forest then their might be even richer spiritual qi ' thinking this he started going deeper he know that it's a deadly move but he desperately want to make a breakthrough.
He know that although people knew that this forest have richer spiritual qi compared to the village and some places in the kingdom they wouldn't go into the forest to cultivate as this forest is filled with many powerful beasts as well as other species.
After 10 minutes of walk he felt increase in spiritual qi and he started cultivating and after an hour he felt some noticeable progress in his cultivation he actually want to continue cultivating but it is slowly getting dark and it will be more dangerous for him to stay in the forest at night and his family would also be worried about him.so he decided to head home.
When he was about to start walking in the direction he came, he saw a extremely beautiful flower in the distance.He was curious about it so he decided to take that with him as it is emitting some abundant spiritual qi.
'Maybe it will help my cultivation' thought alex while storing it carefully.
He came out of the forest and was walking along side the river. All of sudden he heard a beast painful cry from the forest and the sky is dark so he hurried his pace.
In less than a minute, A figure appeared infront of him and he was scared but tried to be calm and the spiritual aura that person emitting is so thick that alex had difficulty in breathing. There was complete silence between them until the person in black clothes started talking.
"Who are you?" Asked the person in black clothes.
'This person is too powerful I need to be careful with my words' thought alex.
"Iam alex and iam from the village nearby" said Alex.
"Then what are you doing in the forest earlier?" Asked person infront of him.
'He knew that I was in the forest ' thought alex.
"I went into the forest to cultivate" said Alex honestly. That person just nodded
"You have something I need and if you give me that I will let you go" said person.
"What are you talking about?" Asked alex.
"You know exactly what I am talking about. It's inside your storage ring" said that person in a serious tone.
'He want that flower... if he want that then it must be a treasure' thought alex.
"What do I get in return if I give you what you want" said Alex with a calm face he was just trying to get something for giving him that flower.
"Do you think you can strike a deal with me and if it isn't me then you would have died from that beast in the forest" said person.
'So he must be the reason for that beast painful cry' thought alex.
"Thank you for that sir" replied Alex while bowing a little.
"So will you hand me over that flower" asked the person in black clothes.
"I will but what will you give me in return" said Alex in a calm manner.
"I could just kill you and take it from you" said person with killing intent.
"If you want to kill me and take it from me then you wouldn't have bothered to start a conversation with me in the first place" said Alex. He appeared to be calm on outside but he was shivering internally.
'This kid is smart..and he is trying to stay calm...when was the last I saw someone like him?' Thought person.
"Fine, since you said you want to increase your cultivation then I will teach you but it will depend on your abilities to grasp them or not" said the mysterious elder.
"I have to go home now so when will you teach me, elder" asked alex happily.
'Now he is calling me elder...interesting' thought the mysterious elder.
"Come to this place tomorrow morning " said elder while extending his hand towards alex.
"Okay then I will meet you here tomorrow, elder" said alex while handing him the flower.
Then the mysterious elder disappeared at a lightning speed.
'What if he tricked me... I couldn't even get to see his face as it is dark.....maybe he won't considering his status... as someone powerful....atleast I hope so' thought alex while rushing back to home.
After an hour, he had dinner with his family and helped his mom in doing dishes. Thinking that he would get teached by that mysterious elder he was happy and he wasn't able to relieve himself for the last ten days as he was so engrossed in cultivation.
'Finally I can relieve myself' thought alex while heading to his beautiful sister's room.
