Kapitel 126: Chapter 125: Power On

Now that Sara had agreed to all of my conditions, with the last one being non-negotiable, she put her snow clothes on and got ready while I exited the tent after making sure no one was looking; walking around, I went toward the spot Sara, and I would meet up. We didn't leave the tent together, as that would've been unnecessarily risky if you asked me, so I left first, and now I'm currently in a somewhat isolated part of the place while waiting for Sara to arrive.

However, while waiting, I spotted someone heading for the bathroom where Spenzer was, causing me to frown; it hadn't even been five minutes since then, and he was already about to get discovered. Keeping my eye on the dude, I watched as he entered the tent and used one of the urinals; once he finished peeing, he washed his hands and left the place, never looking at the stall where Spenzer was kept.

"Haa, thank goodness that was cl-are fucking me?" Muttered Pharaoh with a sigh of relief as he watched the man exit the tent and walk away, only for another man to enter the tent.

Glancing at where Sara was, I saw her approaching me, and she wasn't too far away, yet luck wasn't on my side this time since the dude inside the tent started banging on the stall door where was Spenzer before he eventually broke it down.

"Alright, I'm ready, Tut, so how are we getting in?" Asked Sara curiously as she approached Pharaoh, hiding behind a tent while she wore a large coat, thick insulated pants, and a beni with a camera hanging from her neck.

Cursing under my breath at the dude reporting Spenzer's body, I grabbed Sara by her shoulder and enveloped her in my aura before speedily running around the entire base, taking a large angle to make sure I wasn't possibly seen, only to stop when we were standing above part of the spaceship that was still tens of feet deep within the ice.

"Through the ice; follow me, and watch your step; it will be slippery." Replied Pharaoh, glancing at Sara before protectively standing in front of her while his eyes took on a reddish tint before powerful beams of concentrated plasma shot from his eyes and into the ice, melting it.

Melting the ice with my heat vision, Sara and I slowly descended to part of the ship while the shield agents who had set up a base of operation were quickly getting active; I could hear sirens blaring as they were probably looking for me, though, even if they do happen to find me somehow it will be far too late by then. After a minute or so of melting the ice, I retracted my heat vision as we arrived just in front of the spaceship, causing the command key to wiggle aggressively.

"Alright, stand back a little bit, Sara; I don't know what exactly is about to happen." Said Pharaoh seriously as he raised his hand, prompting Sara to cautiously back away while gazing at the key in interest.

"What is that, Tut?" Asked Sara curiously as she watched Tut move it closer to the spaceship, which suddenly created a keyhole perfect for it to fit into.

I didn't immediately answer Sara and inserted the command key into the newly formed keyhole before pushing it fully inside; at first, nothing happened, though after a few seconds, a door suddenly opened right beside the key, which was pushed out.

"A key? Where did you find that Tut?" Asked Sara with a raised eyebrow as she warily looked inside the spaceship before glancing at Pharaoh, sporting a wry expression.

"Haa, I'll tell you about it later, Sara; for now, let's continue." Replied Pharaoh with a complicated expression as he grabbed the command key from the keyhole, which filled back in when he did so.

Focusing on my senses, I looked through the whole spaceship, making sure there wasn't anyone living there, and thankfully, there wasn't, but I found a few weird-looking floating robots, along with what I would consider the bridge or the command room of the spaceship.

"It looks decently safe in here, but still be careful; don't wander off like a child in a candy store." Stated Pharaoh lightly, causing Sara to roll her eyes as she followed right behind him, the two entering the spaceship.

The instant we entered the spaceship, one of those floating robots instantly turned towards us and started flying through the spaceship before arriving at us within a few seconds; when it arrived, I saw three tentacles emerge from its back, and just when I was about to destroy the robot, it just floated there, not doing anything.

"Umm, it's not going to attack us?" Asked Sara fearfully as she cowered behind Tut while peeking her head from behind his back, eyeing the floating robot.

"I don't think so. It would've done so by now." Replied Tut in uncertainty as he cautiously looked at the robot, having half a mind to destroy it right now, though he descended against it.

'Don't want to activate its defenses or whatever; if this ship is Kryptonian, I wouldn't be surprised if it had a way to neutralize my powers or something. Besides, if I'm not mistaken, all of this is similar to that one movie from my past life; dammit, I forget the name, whatever, it doesn't matter anyways.' Thought Tut lightly as he looked at the robot before cautiously walking forward, prompting the robot to float backward, keeping a constant three-meter distance between each other.

"Don't take any pictures, Sara; I don't want it to get pissed off or something; I'd prefer to stay amiable in an alien spaceship." Said Tut as he looked away from the robot and continued walking forward while Sara nodded, keeping her eyes glued to the robot.

While walking down the spaceship's corridors, I took my time observing everything, though I was oblivious to what almost everything was; after all, my birth parents didn't send me a guidebook about Kryptonian language or technology.

'Would've been helpful, not gonna lie.' Mused Tut lightly as he and Sara looked around, appreciating the unique architecture of the spaceship.

"It's not nearly as grotesque as I imagined an alien spaceship to be, and is it just me, or do all these things look somewhat human-like? Almost as if the aliens were similar to humans. Appearance wise, at least, for all I know, they could be a war-monger alien race, which, now that I think about it, would be humans." Remarked Sara thoughtfully as she looked at the human-sized doors, chairs, tables, and other things while walking through the ship.

"Yeah, you're not wrong." Muttered Tut with a nod while passing by a locked door, though he could still see through it.

The room behind that locked door was weird; one of the walls within the room was like an aquarium with vines with large balls growing out of them; if anything, it reminded me of an incubator.

'Weren't Kryptonians grown and not born? I can't remember everything, but that sounds somewhat familiar.' Thought Tut as he looked within the room before turning away and continuing forward, heading toward the command room of the spaceship.

We did happen to pass by another floating robot, but it didn't even register our existence, prompting Sara and I to look at each other before shrugging our shoulders as we continued to press on.

Eventually, after several more minutes of walking, as it was quite the extensive spaceship, we finally arrived at the command room; right at the front was a large desk that had a keyhole in the middle, prompting the command key in my hands to wiggle violently. Approaching the captain's seat, I sat down and inserted the command key into the hole, pushing it fully in; instantly, the desk came to life as lights came on while the ship trembled lightly.

"Did you just turn this thing on?" Asked Sara as she stood right beside Tut, gazing at the desk, which looked like liquid metal.

"Um, yeah?" Replied Tut in uncertainty as he hesitantly lowered his hands onto the desk, causing the liquid metal to cover them.

After Tut had put his hands on the desk, he stopped moving, which did worry me, but the blinking of his eyes caused me to sigh in relief; I continued to stand by his side for a few minutes. Before grabbing my camera and taking a few pictures of the place, it should be safe to take some photos now that Tut had turned this thing on.

'Haa, it's unfortunate that I can't publish these pictures; it would definitely be my best work yet. I mean, what can compare to discovering an alien spaceship?' Mused Sara lightly with a sad sigh as she shook her head before noticing a robot floating through the halls, prompting her to take a picture of it.

"Hmm, it wasn't a good one; I need it to stand or float still." Muttered Sara as she looked down at the camera before glancing back up, only to back away in fear when she noticed the floating robot rapidly approaching her.

"T-Tu-ARGHHH!" Yelled Sara nervously, though before she could finish speaking, the robot stabbed her side with its tentacle, injuring her as she fell to the ground in pain, bleeding everywhere.

Screaming in pain, I held my side, trying to stop the bleeding out of reflex, though when I looked up, the robot was floating right above, yet like a knight in shining armor, a black fist punched through the robot's head, before it was torn in half.

___

Before anyone gets mad at Sara, to be fair, her thought process was justifiable; she should've listed to Pharaoh, but nonetheless, she had a justifiable thought process
