“Who do you think you are, saying things like that? Don’t act like a know-it-all when you’re just an outsider. With a smart mouth like that, are you as smart when you’re dueling?”
It was clear that a slight from an outsider could instantly send On flying into a fit of rage. Joke and his friends slowly stepped aside, as On’s target had changed.
The person, whose mouth slipped, scratched his neck, looking as if he couldn’t wait to leave this place. Still, he couldn’t suppress his words when the person in front of him still acted tough.
“Not sure if I’m that smart when I duel. But there’s one thing I know: I can defeat you without breaking a sweat.”
“What?”
On’s voice became higher when he was retorted.
“You think you’re so tough, huh? Let’s duel. And I’ll use a two-box rule to shut that mouth of yours!”
It seemed he had indeed changed his target. The hooded man mumbled to himself, “As expected of a stray dog. He really doesn’t choose which tree to bark at.” Before sighing again.
