Kapitel 253: Douglas Bullet VS Supernova
Delta Island, once a place of joyous celebration, has become a battlefield. The excitement of pirates from all over the world has been abruptly halted.
At the center of the main stage, Douglas Bullet, a giant with a muscular body like steel, stands tall with cold eyes. His sharp gaze focuses on the Worst Generation Supernovas gathered before him.
"Tch. This is going to be tough." Mutters Eustass Kid, one of the Supernovas, tightening his giant metal gloves. "But who said we don't like a challenge, huh?"
Zoro stands casually beside him, one hand gripping his sword hilt. His sharp eyes never leave Bullet. "He's stronger than most opponents we've faced. But there's no enemy that can't be cut down."
Law standing slightly behind, spins his sword, considering strategy. "If we attack him without a plan, we'll just be wasting our lives. He's not an ordinary person."
On the other side, Luffy stares angrily at Bullet, who has severely injured Usopp.
"If you guys don't come to me... I'll come to you guys."
Bullet throws Usopp, who's in his grasp, towards Luffy.
Unprepared for this, Luffy catches Usopp but is hit by a powerful blow from Bullet.
*BAM*
"AAAAAGGGHH!"
Hit by an attack infused with Busoshoku Haki, Luffy, normally impervious to blows thanks to his rubber body, cries out in pain and is thrown back along with Usopp.
*WHOOSH*
As Killer and Kid are both shocked, Bullet takes the opportunity to slam their faces together.
"GUHHH." (2x)
*BAM*
Then Bullet disappears and attacks Drake and Urouge, punching them both in the stomach.
The other members of the Worst Generation jump back to avoid Bullet's attacks.
Then Basil transforms into a straw monster and tries to attack from behind, but Bullet manages to "take" Basil's "life" and destroy one of his straw puppets.
"Boom!" Apoo says, patting his body. His Devil Fruit power, related to music, explodes.
*BOOM*
Apoo then launches his explosion at Bullet. However, Bullet slams Apoo against the wall in the distance.
"ROAR!" Drake transforms into an Allosaurus and bites Bullet, but he is unaffected.
Bullet then easily lifts the Allosaurus and throws it towards Urouge.
"Hmph..." Bullet smirks mockingly.
"You underestimate us! I'll turn you into a little kid!"
Bonney wants to use her Devil Fruit power to manipulate the age of others. Unfortunately, she overestimates herself.
"Hmph."
Bullet grabs Bonney's leg and slams her to the ground.
"AAHH!" Bonney screams in pain.
Luffy in Gear 2 and 3, and Kid using as much metal as he can, both try to punch Bullet.
"Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gun!"
Luffy's giant fist, coated in Busoshoku Haki, is aimed at Bullet.
"DIE!" Kid shouts, directing his large metal arm towards Bullet.
Bullet somehow deflects their attacks against each other.
"Why you! Don't get in my way!"
Kid and Luffy are angry at being hit by each other's attacks.
"You're all in my way! Big Father!"
Bege's body transforms into a fortress.
"Amazing!"
Luffy thinks it's cool and his eyes light up.
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
Bege starts firing his cannons. However, he realizes his cannonballs have no effect on Bullet, who dodges and deflects them.
*WHOOSH*
Bullet leaps and crashes into Bege.
*BAM*
"Khehehehe..."
Seeing the giant fortress collapse, Bullet chuckles.
Just then, Basil's straw monster appears and shoots nails at him. Bullet dodges and defeats it. Then an explosion engulfs his body.
"Boom, boom!" Apoo shouts as another explosion occurs.
*BOOM* *BOOM*
Then Killer uses his sharp weapon and tries to slice Bullet's head, but Bullet deflects it with Busoshoku Haki. Then he punches Killer.
Drake's tail wraps around Bullet's body, and then Urouge grows larger and punches Bullet.
"Retribution!" Urouge shouts as he punches Bullet, sending him flying backward.
"Not bad. But it's still not enough."
Bullet smiles at their attack and stands back up.
"Go to hell!"
Kid hits him with his giant metal arm.
*BAM*
"Gomu Gomu no Red Hawk!"
Luffy using Gear 2 and Busoshoku Haki, heats his arm with air friction for a fiery attack.
*BAM*
"Don't interfere!"
"That's what I was going to say!"
Luffy and Kid glare at each other.
Bullet walks out of the dust cloud with his jacket completely torn.
"Just that? Then you'll die here."
He removes his jacket, revealing his black shirt with the Roger Pirates symbol.
"Training... Tactics... Determination... Some of you don't have it or even have it at all... I'll show you all what true raw power is!"
Bullet declares, belittling his opponents. Even after the combined effort of the Supernovas, he has not suffered a fatal injury.
*WHOOSH*
Bullet disappears and punches Luffy in the stomach, throwing him against a slab of rock again.
"Luffy!" Zoro cries out in shock.
"Bastard! What are you aiming for!" Kid asks, trying to figure out the other party's goal.
"To become the strongest in this world and plunge this world into chaos! The stage is set, so you all better not die in front of me!"
Bullet smiles bloodthirstily, then attacks Urouge and throws him at Drake. Then he attacks Hawkins, ultimately destroying all his straw puppets.
Killer, Kid, Apoo, Bege, Bonney, Zoro, and Luffy are all exhausted.
"Damn, he's playing us!" Apoo says, gasping for breath.
"Khahahaha... This is the power of the man who will become Pirate King."
Bullet stares at Luffy, provoked by his statement that he will become the next Pirate King. As a former member of Roger's crew, he considers Luffy not as strong as Roger.
"If your goal is to become Pirate King... Then I won't lose to you! Gear 4: Snake Man!"
Luffy transforms into Snake Man.
"Using Devil Fruit and Haki to the fullest? You won't last long like that."
Seeing this, Bullet mocks Luffy.
"Let's begin!"
Luffy targets Bullet with incredible speed.
*WHOOSH*
"Hmph!" Bullet smiles, but then he receives Luffy's first blow.
*BAM*
"Gomu Gomu no... Jet Culverin!"
Luffy increases the speed of his punches.
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
Bullet punches one of the attacks, but is hit by another. The blow sends him crashing into the rock. Then he gets up as Luffy jumps towards him.
"Gomu Gomu no Black Mamba!"
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
Luffy punches faster and harder, hitting Bullet several times. It only causes him to retreat a few meters.
"No wonder you have a 1.5 Billion bounty... Give me everything you've got and MORE!"
Bullet punches Luffy.
Then the two begin to fight. Then Luffy decides to use his strongest move at the moment.
"Gomu Gomu..."
"SHOW ME YOUR FULL POWER!"
Bullet attacks Luffy with a Busoshoku Haki-coated fist.
"KING COBRA!" Luffy shouts as the cloud around his fist transforms into a snake.
"EAST BLUE CRASH!" Bullet says as they both punch each other.
*BOOM*
Then they are both thrown back by the force of their punches. However, Luffy exits Gear 4: Snake-Man.
"Not bad, Straw Hat... You're strong, I'll admit that. But you rookies... I'll defeat you all... no, I'll kill you all to become the strongest!" Bullet says arrogantly.
"May I join in on the fun? It's not fair if only the Supernovas get to have all the fun."
A foreign voice echoes across the battlefield.
Bullet and the other Supernovas look towards the source of the voice, and see a white-haired young man appearing not far from them, seemingly out of nowhere.
"It's you!!!"
Drake, as a member of SWORD and affiliated with the Marines, immediately recognizes the newcomer's identity.
In fact, except for Luffy who is clueless, all the Supernovas recognize the young man.
There's no other choice, the other party's achievements are so well-known, except for people who are indifferent to news like Luffy, even ordinary people would know the young man's name when they see him.
