Kapitel 106: Daniel was kidnapped

Two months have passed...

As usual, Valerie enjoyed breakfast with Daniel, but this time Hannah remained in her room when she should have been getting ready to take him to daycare.

"Mama, when will Dada come again?" Daniel asked, munching on his asparagus with his tiny hands.

"He'll come when he's not busy," Valerie replied anxiously, remembering Damian starting to see her less often, citing busyness. She couldn't demand much and chose to wait until the man could marry her, even choosing to focus on writing again.

Daniel pouted instantly. "But, I miss him!"

"Mama knows... We'll call him later." Valerie stood up. "I'll go see Hannah."

Daniel stayed silent, letting his mother leave the dining room.

"Hannah... Hannah..." Valerie knocked on Hannah's door room.

In an instant, the door opened, revealing Hannah looking pale and weary, but her clothes indicated she was ready to leave.

"Hey, are you sick?" Valerie asked.
