"Mmm... Xiao Xiao fell asleep after taking her medicine just now," Mother Tang reported as she pressed the phone to her ear. "I think she must be tired after playing around."

If Tang Shi Yi knew that her daughter had cried until her eyes turned swollen after hearing the news of a friend passing, she would only worry. Mother Tang thought that her daughter already had a lot on her plate and did not want her to worry.
