As swiftly as they bellowed the howls died down as if it was a figment of their imagination, the men started to relax.

"It's just the wind moving through the trees," laughed the first mercenary, "the wench knows this and is just trying to pull the wool over our eyes."

"That's good, you must be right," said another raider reassuringly, "she just probably knows the terrain better and is using it to her advantage.

The third man who had been silent the entire time closed in on his horse, he pulled out a wicked looking crescent curved blade and pointed it at Kaoma's throat.

Then he chuckled and said, "Esteemed leader, i think I would have remembered her had I seen that noble lady before," he speculated, "I call first dibs on this one, she's a lovely morsel that I would like to sink my teeth into and that's all I care about."
