Kapitel 50: A promise of things to come

"Repeat what you just said," asked Maxixe while frowning.

"To summarize, it seems the men here are being served garbage for breakfast, lunch and dinner while the women, the elderly and children eat just fine. Look at you foaming at the mouth over some simply prepared sautéed fish. What's the reasoning behind this?"

Prince Maxixe continued to chew the remainder of her fish as he pondered her words.

"No wonder, you can barely finish this small fish. Hah!"

His skin started to crawl as a slow rush of anger started to boil from deep within.

He hissed, "who has been feeding you?"

She laughed uproariously, drawing a few curious eyes in their direction, so she tried to cover her laughter, when she was done she whispered.

"Why should I tell you?... So that you can get a piece of rope and tie them to your bed frame and threaten to whip them like you did with me?"

"That can easily be corrected," he answered silkily.
