Kapitel 49: New beginning(chapter 49)

Emma Frost, ever perceptive, noted the dynamics in the group with amusement. "You seem to be having a lot of fun. Looks like you didn't need a rescue after all," she remarked, earning a perplexed look from the others.

Pryo, breaking the confusion with his usual candor, exclaimed, "Am I the only one confused here?" His question elicited laughter from the women as Oliver began to make his exit.

"Well, looks like our deal's here. Don't forget your promise, Katherine. I wouldn't want to have to track you down, again..." Oliver said, a hint of humor in his voice as he walked towards the shoreline.

"Wait, where are you going? We could give you a ride," Kate offered, genuine concern in her voice.

"I do have a ride. How do you think I got here?" Oliver replied with a faint smirk, summoning the symbiote suit that materialized around him, drawing collective raised eyebrows from the mutants.

As Oliver dove into the water, Pryo finally yelled with understanding, "Oh, I get it. You guys fucked." His blunt observation was met with a series of facepalms from the mutants, followed by a knowing chuckle from Emma Frost, but there was something on the back of her head, an image of a certain, homeless kid that intrigued once before but she couldn't find the reason why she was rebranding said kid, "maybe its the red, from kitty's memories, he does seem rather endowed, maybe i should speak to her," she mused to herself.

"Let's go. I need to have a conversation with Shaw," Kate said, her tone serious and determined. Orora, Emma, and Jean Grey frowned in unison, the crackling of lightning around Orora indicating the intensity of the impending discussion. The night was far from over, and the mysteries of their intertwined fates were yet to unfold under the watchful eyes of the moonlit beach.

-scene change-

Deep within the internal sea, Oliver could be seen walking along the sea's bed, the sand shifting under his feet with each step. The water around him was a mesmerizing hue of deep blues and greens, illuminated by the faint glow of the Abyssal Pearl he held in his hand. Its luminescence added an ethereal quality to the underwater world, casting soft, shifting shadows across the sea floor.

The pearl itself was a marvel, emitting a gentle, pulsating green light. As he glanced at it, its smooth surface reflected the ambient light of the sea, creating a mesmerizing play of colors.

Oliver had just harvested this pearl moments ago, and its significance was not lost on him. The options it provided were immensely useful for his underwater ventures. The Aquatic Breath granted him the ability to take deep breaths underwater, while the Submerged Stride allowed him to move effortlessly, as if the water was solid ground beneath his feet. These options were exactly what he needed for his current project, which he had aptly named Neptune.

Neptune was a project that demanded rare underwater materials, and Oliver was on a quest to collect them. Special corals, ancient metals submerged for centuries, and unique underwater flora were all on his list. He knew that the more unique and special the item before being given options, the better its enhancements would be.

As he scoured the sea floor, Oliver's eyes keenly searched the surroundings. The vibrant corals swayed gently with the currents, their colors dancing in the underwater light. Schools of colorful fish darted past him, curious about this intruder in their realm. The occasional glimpse of a mysterious sea creature added an element of wonder to his exploration.

Hours passed like minutes as Oliver delved deeper into the underwater world. He found several intriguing items, some of which piqued his interest while others he discarded. The seabed was a treasure trove of possibilities, each discovery sparking ideas for his project.

However, his underwater adventure was interrupted by a soft ping on his phone. Oliver paused, seeing the nature of the message, oliver smiled as he though, "looks like i am creating that anti magic blade soon or something" before the image of emma frost appeared in his mind, which then reminded him of his younger days where he was planning on robbing her house, "that was quite damn" before chuckling to himself. the glow of the Abyssal Pearl casting a faint halo around him as he checked the notification. It was time to resurface and attend to the call of the world above. With a sense of reluctance, he tucked the pearl safely into his pocket, its soft glow dimming as he began his ascent back to the surface.

-Scene Change-

In the heart of the park, amidst the serene greenery and the gentle rustle of leaves, a Kroakoan gate stood tall. It was a circle constructed from roots and twigs of strange, otherworldly plants. Kate, despite being a mutant, couldn't utilize this particular gate for some unknown reason. So, she stood beside the intricate circle, holding a box in her hands.

Approaching the gate, she spotted Oliver standing nearby, his figure silhouetted against the backdrop of the park. She walked towards him, her steps light on the grassy ground. As she handed him the box, a playful grin danced on her lips as she saw him eyeing the box from a mile away "Wow, can't even wait to open it," she teased, her voice laced with amusement.

Oliver, focused on the task at hand, ignored her banter for the moment. With a curious glint in his eyes, he opened the box. Inside lay a block of sleek black metal, its surface gleaming in the dappled sunlight filtering through the trees. A satisfied smile spread across Oliver's face as he closed the box, tucking it safely into his shell.

Glancing back at Kate, she quipped, "You know, you should smile more." Her tone was light, teasing, as he stood there, the metal block now safely stored away. "Well, that's it then. If you ever need something done in exchange for this metal, you know where to find me," he said, stepping closer to her.

Their faces were mere inches apart now, the air between them charged with an unspoken energy. Kate's eyes sparkled with a mix of curiosity and determination as she gazed back at him. "Are you sure you don't want to join my crew?" she offered once more, her voice soft but persistent.

Oliver, ever the stoic, couldn't help but chuckle softly. "You just want that, don't you?" he replied, a hint of amusement in his voice. Kate raised her hands in a mock surrender, a playful smile on her face. "Guilty as charged," she admitted with a shrug. With a final glance, oliver turned away, his footsteps light on the grass as he began to walk. "But I am serious," Kate called after him, her voice carrying through the peaceful park. "You can join us anytime you want," she urged, hoping to sway his decision.

A/N: Another chapter... I should probably focus on my practical write-up instead of uploading chapters. Anyway, I hope you guys like it. This new volume will consist of Oliver traveling around the universe to different realms, gathering magical items and extraordinary materials. Why is he collecting these materials? Aside from the obvious answer of providing options, who knows? Maybe... just maybe, he is preparing for something big, something massive. But I don't want to spoil the fun, so enjoy this volume of Adam and his conquests, fighting monsters, sorcerers (they cook), and eldritch gods, both new and old. Who knows, he might just end up entangled with a certain goddess of death.

P.S.: Has anyone recently developed a crush on Hella, or is it just me?

PS: should oliver join her crew, who knows what that might entail, also ignore if you see names like adam and liam, writing 3 fanfic side by side would do wonders for your brain, and not the good kind
