Kapitel 212: Our Lady Boss

Just as she had said, Mrs. Lu stuck to her initial plans without missing a beat. 

If she were to stay back at home and wait for dust to settle, then anyone might point fingers at the Lu family and talk behind their back. 

But if she appeared in the public eye and acted as usual then who would dare to think that the commotion yesterday impacted the Lus in any way? 

Seeing the determination on her face, Mr. Lu was more relieved. 

But when he was not looking at her, he did not see a devious glint in Mrs. Lu's eyes. 

Putting the matters in her mind to rest, she left the mansion early and went shopping as planned but on her way back, something happened. 

Just as Mrs. Lu had walked out of the luxury store followed by the driver and her private guards who were carrying her backs, a gust of cold air seemed to have slashed through her face and an ominous feeling rose in her heart.
