There is something no one tells you about revenge – it turns you into a loner.

I fought the angry tears at the corner of my eyes as I marched towards Noah's room. I hated that I was doing this but if I had another way to save my children, I would choose it. Why do women have to be silent about cheating mates? Be the first one to reach out or ignore for peace to reign? If it was me in Noah's shoes, everyone would be acting as if I killed someone.

What is more, this thing feels like a natural order of things around here. But not for long…something needs to be changed and I know that if I can change more than a century-old curse, I could do this too. When I got to his door, I took a deep breath, trying to control my emotions as I stood there. As I was about to knock on the door, I felt someone's presence beside me.

Startled, I turned and saw it was Brooke. She had a satisfied smile as she turned to face me too.
