I sat with my back to her so I couldn't read her expression. I waited until I heard the door close behind me before I let out a huge sigh of relief. I cradled my head in my hands hoping I would feel guilty now… but I wasn't remorseful enough. More than anything, it felt like I would do it again if given the opportunity.

A day ago, if someone had told me that I would cheat on Selene and not give a damn about it, I would have dismissed the person with a laugh and that was because I love her so much to hurt her.
