Kapitel 73: Taking us hostages!

24 hours ago. 

I watched as all the Alphas sauntered into the regional council hall. It was how they were making zero effort to act guilty and that ached me the most. They were strolling in as if they had been invited to a party. 

Still, I didn't say anything. I had purposely brought out enough time today in preparation for the meeting, it was as if I guessed they were all going to come late, so I cancelled every prior engagement I had for later on. 

Behind me, sat Alpha Kurtis; since I joined hands with him, the pack had seen prosperity, as promised he had recruited a few of my soldiers and we were sending them in batches to him. When one set leaves, another set from his pack would replace them to maintain a balance. 

It's been two months since Selene left and since I joined hands with Kurtis.
