Kapitel 95: When the Shadows feed

Talon's head was aching, the pain was close to unbearable, so much so that his previous focus on keeping the members of the Nine walked.

And akin to a weekly held door, someone burst into that imaginary door and rushed into the room that was Talon's mind.

'Really bad situation you found yourself kiddo.'

It was Number Eight, of course, not missing the chance to mock Talon at the worst times.

But even then, Talon pushed away the pain in his head that he felt without stopping and tried his best to ignore number Eight as well.

What was before they required his deepest concentration, vampires.

A lot of them.

And something was early familiar about this scene, Talon could swear that he saw these very same blood-red eyes looking down at him in the night.

"The nightmare…"

Muttered Talon aloud, shock evident in his voice.

Everyone could hear him, but no one decided to question him about it, at least not at their current moment.
