Kapitel 41: Still Alive

In the dimly lit medical ward, Talon silently sat on a chair in the corner. Before him, Thorn lay on the bed, sleeping while her breathing was ragged, her face ashen white, pale from backlash.

While Talon gazed at Thorn before him, he hugged the red spear in his hand, not letting it go while his eye darted around the room, he was beyond exhausted, but still on edge.

His body was covered with bandages.

Inside the medical ward, next to Thorn's bed was Aria's, her condition was one of the worst out of all of them, with her lower abdomen pierced by Grayson's claws. 

Beside Aria lay Rokara, her condition was peculiar, despite her injuries, the fall seemed to have impacted her the most, seemingly a heavy case of backlash close to Thorn's.

On the other side of the ward were two more beds occupied by the two brothers.

Quinn bore deep cuts from Grayson's blades, while next to him, Orion lay in a state similar to Aria's, his life hanging by a thread.
