Kapitel 61: A better demon

Celeste shook in horror, her hands trembling. Her gaze darted from the detached head to the rest of Cassius's body. This couldn't be happening.

"I told you to leave him" She cried out while crouching to the ground to touch the remainder of his body.

Celeste could never get to see him again, and it bothered her. It saddened her even. She was angry, very angry at Alistair for having done such a despicable thing but right now her priority was Cassius.

Alistair had his hands in his pocket while staring down at the image of Celeste towering over the dead Cassius. His jaw clenched.

He wouldn't have to resort to tearing the man's head away from his body if only he hadn't annoyed Alistair to the core.

Werewolves were full of pride, wanting to show the other that they couldn't be insulted and go scot-free.

It wouldn't have escalated to this point if they weren't fighting over Celeste either.
