Kapitel 227: Chapter 227 : That Rat 6
The first spell was launched by Nick, he still wasn't using any dark spells like the forbidden curses, and he was worried about his wand being traced. Thanks to his previous life he knew that a spell done by him could be traced by the tracing spell placed on him when he entered Hogwarts by boat in his first year, that was when the tracing charm was first applied to the underage wizards and witches.
But that just tells that someone around the wizard or witch did magic, completely unreliable when it comes to finding what kind of magic that witch or wizard did, or even finding out whether it was that underage wizard who did the magic or someone else around them.
That was exactly how the last time was traced by the ministry and all that court shenanigans took place.
But to preciously know whether it was the wizard who used the magic, the ministry has to check the wand. That is why Nick didn't want to use any dark spell from his wand. He long avoided that tracer charm in the first year but his wand being traced was still an issue.
"Expelliarmus" Nick shouted as the red light left his wand, heading right at Orion. Orion with just one swift of his hand deflected the spell with ease.
Orion then pushed his right hand towards Nick, who was standing pretty far away but to his surprise, he felt the punch in his gut.
"HUfff." All the air from his lungs out empty with just one punch. It was almost like Orion's had a stand. Though he only acted like punching Nick from pretty far but somehow the punch got connected.
"That force punch, you like it. I transfer the impact of the punch through space, directly towards the target." Orion grin.
This was one of the gimmick attacks he made in his free time. It was a gimmick because, with just an adequate shield around, anyone could block those magic punches.
And to no one surprise, Nick immediately put a shield around him. Orion wasn't disappointed. Nick knows much about magic, even if he didn't say that, it's most likely that Nick would figure it out by the next time he uses that again.
"Bombarda Maxima" Nick immediately shouted.
Orion sensed the magic acting as he saw a blue spell coming towards him. Generally, spells which have some kind of colour are more powerful in nature than the ones which are colourless.
Orion didn't panic at all, he just raised his hand up to stop the spell from reaching him. And just like Neo stopped those bullets from reaching him, Orion too stopped the spell from reaching him, his infinity acting up.
That was the ideal side of this infinity, though it's pretty much useless after a certain degree of power, like an attack intended to kill or harm him from someone like Dumbledore or the Dark Lords, these weak attacks are nothing to him. His infinity easily blocks those.
Seeing his spell stop mid-way even Nick was taken aback, a little stunned and a little helpless. Finally, he started realizing that maybe fighting with Orion right now wasn't the right decision.
"You can have this back," Orion said nonchalantly as he pushed the spell back towards Nick with ease.
Nick and almost everyone's eyes widened at that, since when he can do that? That is almost like cheating.
Nick didn't have that much time to reach though, the only thing he could do was to jump out of the way.
The spell directly went at the wall of the run-down shack, completely exploding it, as splinters and pieces of wood blasted out of the shack, Orion could only hope that this thing just didn't collapse on all of them.
"Stop both of you. This place will collapse." Both Rose and Hermione shouted simultaneously.
Orion who was building was Amplified blue on his hand pause, he was sure that he could prevent others from getting injured if that were to happen or even fix that shack later on if needed.
But upon seeing both girls standing between him and Nick, what else he can do?
'Tch this again.' Orion just clicked his tongue as Rose ran out of the shield he erected and took it in front of him while Hermione did the same for Nick.
"Rose you don't understand what's going on here. Just stay behind that shield." Orion said as he gently with the help of force dragged her back to the shield. Well, at least he tried as the girl again immediately came out before even he put a permanent ward to stop her from escaping again.
"I don't care, stop fighting. And you, I don't give two flying fuck why you need that rat. You ain't having him. And that's final." Rose said with a commanding voice as her magic too leaked out.
'Since when did she become like this ?' Orion pondered but still amused at how the usually easygoing girl was finally showing what she really could do. Her own magic was nothing to sneeze at, of course, nothing in comparison to both Orion and Nick but it was enough to break the situation and bring both of the boy's attention to her.
Nick on the other side didn't even care about what Rose was talking about. To him, that girl was just someone he wanted to kill and he could kill her easily if not for Orion being there.
"Yes, stop this nonsense. Lower than wand, you too Orio...." Hermione took the initiative after seeing that the boys were now at least listening to them thanks to Rose. She shouted as he raised her own wand towards Nick to show that he had to attack her before he did anything else. But when he was about to talk with Orion, those extremely blue eyes shining at her, made her stop.
She was still feeling guilty after doing what she did to Orion last year. Now this has been an entire year since then. She never got to talk with Orion at this time. There was a hesitation in her voice.
Orion naturally notices this hesitation. He just wanted to use force and drag her out of the way, he rather not have history repeat again like this to save Nick. But Rose was also standing there.
'Girls, why it's always girls....' Orion rolled his eyes with much irritation.
[Yes, irritating] Merlin replied but didn't feel like he was giving much attention to the fight or Oron himself.
Rather he was observing Hermione for some reason. Narrowing his eyes, he just shook his head.
[that felt familiar for some reason ?]
"Fine, I will give you one chance to explain what the hell is going on here. Don't think I will let either of you walk out of here just like that after how this guy just barged in and demanded things from me.
"The moment I find your explanation not satisfying or any of you make any shady moves, I will go Sukuna on you.
Aka cutting both of you in pieces.
And when I say it, I mean it." Orion said as he raised his hand towards an old stool on the side, only for the next second that things to cut down into small pieces of wooden cubes. He even added the devil's tongue to make them understand what was going on.
