Skyla was sitting in the limousine Zyair had hired, wrapped up in her boss's coat jacket. Just like previously, Zyair was sitting opposite her, but the air of joviality had evaporated only to be replaced by despondency. Skyla's heart was drowning in it.

She had no clue how to address the situation with him.

"Are you honestly alright?"

He broke the tension and asked, still feeling livid from the situation. His eyes wouldn't leave her.

"Yes!" She whispered and then went into guilty thoughts, 'I cost the company a big deal,' she blamed herself even though none of this was her fault.

The guilt train Doran had made her embark on over the years was something she couldn't see herself getting off anytime soon.
