Sen Vinci, the elder of the Vinci sect, stood in the enclosed chamber of his room on the second mountain, his expression a mix of disbelief and concern. The disciple before him, a young man barely out of his teens, relayed the news with a mixture of excitement and nervousness.

"Is this true?" Sen Vinci asked, his voice trembling slightly. The news was almost too shocking to believe.

"Yes, master," the disciple replied, nodding vigorously. "I spoke with disciples from the Autumn Wind Sect. A disciple named Ria Frost from the Clark Sect really won over Yao Ling in personal combat. It was a public challenge, witnessed by almost all the disciples."

Sen Vinci paced back and forth, his mind racing. "I can't believe it. Why would Yao Ling fight her in the first place? And how could the number one disciple of a rank one sect lose to someone from a third-grade sect like Clark?" he mused aloud, his voice tinged with frustration.
