After the hunt, Valerius headed to the Arcane Bazaar to sell the loot he had gathered.

The legs of the Brain-Shelled Crabs fetched 100 coppers each. Since each crab had ten legs and Valerius had hunted 15 of them, he sold a total of 150 legs, earning him 15 taels of silver. 1 tael of silver was equivalent to 1000 coppers. He had made 15 thousand copper coins just from selling crab legs alone.

Next, the pincers of the crabs were sold at market price for 250 coppers each. Selling all 30 of them, he made seven and a half silver taels.

In total, Valerius made 22.5 silver taels from his master plan alone.

Considering the amount he had invested to make his plan work was only a few hundred coppers, he had exponentially multiplied his investment by an astonishing percentage. 

From just a few hundred coppers, he had earned a total of 22.5 silver taels.

This meant he had increased his investment by over 4500%. It was a remarkable feat by any standard.
