Astrid had been watching the entire session in that bedroom from the start, although the sigil didn't include any sound, she tried to infer what was said from what she saw.

At first, there appeared to be some argument between Emily and Elora, until Emily was eventually placed in that dark dome. Astrid had no idea what went on there, but Emily appeared to step into it willingly, despite her clear anger.

Naturally, she still had to consider the possibility that everything was staged, but the fact that Emily could get angry at Elora seemed to suggest she still had her own mind intact, which made her happy.

The events that happened afterward, however, seemed to suggest her worst fears coming true, as Emma appeared entirely dominated and subservient.

'Is she actually a slave, just like that Nora woman?' she thought to herself, with fury beginning to boil up inside her.
