Late at night.

Under a craggy hillside in the desolate wasteland stood a fortress-like hotel building, heavily guarded with optical scanning, infrared detection, and multiple anti-aircraft gun positions.

The high walls were completely sealed with high-voltage electric nets, equipped with high-definition surveillance cameras covering every angle, and patrolled by drones 24/7.

Numerous guards with heavy machine guns patrolled both inside and outside the building, vigilantly defending against any anomalies.

Further away, behind a hillside, a large team was covertly lurking, each member armed with thermal weapons, equipped with cannons, grenades, electromagnetic pulse bombs, and suicide drones among other armaments.

Saul and some members of the Aldecaldos family were also part of this heavily armed group.

Panam glanced at the time, looked up in the direction they came from, and seeing no movement, she asked Mitch standing by her side,

"Mitch, are you sure the bomb detonators in the camp are all set? Once the Raffen Shiv raid the camp, we need them to be blown sky-high. If those cannons don't fire, you and I are going to have issues."

Mitch reassured her multiple times that all explosives were prepared according to plan, and if the Raffen Shiv dared to come, they would definitely be sent flying.

Saul also observed the movements and said soberly, "These past few days we've spent a lot of resources, the Raffen Shiv can't possibly not fall for it."

"Lately, the Raffen Shiv has been digging around for information, killing many from other tribes, and they've been threatening to find trouble with us."

"We've deliberately leaked the location of the camp through our channels. The Raffen Shiv even sent scouts a few times, and seeing us pack our stuff, they must think we're planning to relocate."

"Tonight is their best chance to strike. Those maniacs definitely won't pass up such a good opportunity; let's wait and see."

Despite Saul's explanation, Panam was still feeling uneasy.

She wasn't worried about the Raffen Shiv not taking the bait; she was worried about Tang Yu, who was left behind to guard the camp alone.

When they planned to ambush the Raffen Shiv, they agreed to form a tribal alliance and elected Saul as the leader, but then they argued endlessly over the bait issue.

Saul then decided to use the Aldecaldos camp as bait to lure the Raffen Shiv into an attack and then ambush them thoroughly.

This was essentially akin to the saying, 'Kill a thousand enemies, lose eight hundred of our own,' weakening the Raffen Shiv, but also damaging the Aldecaldos' foundation.

Rebuilding the camp at the original site after such a fierce battle would be difficult.

However, Panam and Saul agreed that the camp wasn't the most important thing; the safety of their tribal family members was paramount. As long as they survived, they could always find a better location for the camp.

What Panam didn't expect was that Tang Yu would actually volunteer to help handle the attackers from Raffen Shiv, allowing the tribal alliance to concentrate their efforts on taking down the Raffen Shiv base and claim it for their own.

This had many advantages.

The Raffen Shiv base, being situated by the mountains and near water, was easy to defend but hard to attack—perfect for development as a campsite.

Additionally, the base was well-fortified with plenty of resources plundered from various places, enough for the Aldecaldos to reap a significant bounty.

Successfully taking the Raffen Shiv base would not only severely weaken their influence and remove their leadership but also strengthen the Aldecaldos themselves.

Most importantly, breaking into the Raffen Shiv base under normal circumstances was almost impossible. Now, with the support of the tribal alliance and most of the Raffen Shiv's forces likely to attack the Aldecaldos camp, the situation was advantageous.

Seeing Tang Yu's firm resolve and confidence, Panam felt it inappropriate to refuse.

From the battle formations at the corporate plaza, Panam was confident in Tang Yu's ability to eliminate the Raffen Shiv, though she worried about his recently recovered health and the risk of his identity being exposed.

Using his special abilities on a large scale again would inevitably attract the corporation's attention.

Panam then suggested Mitch prepare tons of explosives and place them around the camp's corners, completely destroying the campsite, leaving no trace for others to think it was caused by an explosion.

The tribal alliance, upon learning that 'the deity' was willing to take action, was greatly encouraged and unanimously agreed to follow the Aldecaldos in attacking the Raffen Shiv base.

Considering that the Aldecaldos had contributed the campsite, making the largest sacrifice and effort in the operation, they even left most installations in place to avoid Raffen Shiv suspicion, secretly transporting only essential items to preserve and rekindle their prosperity.

If they couldn't take down the Raffen Shiv this time, the Aldecaldos family would have to move elsewhere to find a new camp farther away.

Everyone patiently waited, just waiting for the explosion to confirm that the Raffen Shiv had initiated their attack, and then they would synchronously launch their offensive to completely take down the Raffen Shiv.

At that moment,

The Aldecaldos camp was quiet as usual, with only lights glowing in some tents, as if in pre-sleep chats.

As the night deepened, the remaining lights went off one after another.

Not far from the camp, on a slope, various modified vehicles were parked, engines and lights off, waiting silently in the dark.

"Boss, they must be asleep by now. I saw their stuff packed neatly into cars. They might even be planning to leave first thing in the morning. If we can raid them tonight, we'll make a fortune."

The man in the hood pinched the plum point on his leather cover, fell silent for a moment, and vaguely felt something was amiss. This time, he had almost gathered all the Night Ghosts and the chaotic forces of each division, leaving only the base still defended. The Aldecaldos were a formidable tribe, hidden for many years, and the battles between the two sides had always been evenly matched. The exposure of the most crucial camp location this time was indeed strange. He refrained from acting hastily and sent several thugs to the camp to check again.

Moments later, several men, panting heavily, jogged back carrying a plank, reporting urgently.

"Boss, boss, you were right, there's a huge problem with that camp. Just a casual look and there are explosives everywhere, no living soul, definitely an ambush."

The man in the leather cover glanced at the plank, saw a body wrapped like a mummy lying on it, and asked in a deep voice, "What's going on here?"

"Boss, we turned it inside out, found nothing but this body lying in a tent. Have you heard about the recent divine descent in the Raffen tribe? They say this body chosen by the gods was sent to the Aldecaldo tribe, it must be this one."

The man in leather closely examined Tang Yu lying on the plank, feeling increasingly puzzled. Just as he was about to pull out a sharp scalpel to investigate, a voice suddenly echoed in his mind. "How do you want to die?" The man in the hood was shocked, and before he could react, sparks and smoke burst from the hood, and he collapsed to the ground. Those around him were stunned, not understanding what had happened, only able to look at each other.

Instantaneously, the previously quiet vehicles automatically ignited their engines, their lights spinning like dazzling will-o'-the-wisps, a huge spotlight illuminating the hillside. They quickly realized the dire situation and tried to abandon the vehicles and flee, only to find their bodies enveloped by an overwhelming pressure, unable to move an inch. A command then resounded in their minds. "Get in the cars." Members of the chaotic faction were terrified, some attempting to break free and run, only to lose consciousness before they could take any significant action. Others who screamed wildly had their brains burned out before they could speak, their bodies floating eerily into the vehicles. A horrifying supernatural evil force completely crushed the will of others, forcing them, with grim faces, to board the uncontrollable vehicles.

The four men carrying the plank stood frozen, unsure of what to do. Seeing others boarding, but having received no instruction themselves, they could only watch helplessly as their comrades sped towards the camp. The chaotic faction's convoy raced to the camp, everyone locked inside with no chance to escape, and without any doubt, crashed into the camp. Boom! A violent explosion erupted in the night, completely enveloping the camp and devouring the entire chaotic faction convoy.

Only the last four men remained, still carrying the plank, daring not to move. Moments later, they watched as the body floated up before them, and suddenly everything went dark as they lost consciousness. As the intense explosion echoed, fireworks shot into the air, illuminating the night sky above. The tribal alliance, lying in ambush near the broken stone mountains of the chaotic faction, instantly spotted the conspicuous explosion signal. Saul no longer hesitated, giving orders, leading everyone to charge towards the chaotic faction camp. Panam also seized her weapon and followed the main force without any doubts. Soon, the chaotic faction's drones spotted them, the turrets at the main gate immediately responding, initiating a scan targeting them.

Quite a few chaotic faction members also took up heavy machine guns, readying themselves for combat. With a battle of life and death imminent, Panam hoisted the cannon on her shoulder, aiming at the about-to-activate turret. To her surprise, the turret that was ready to fire suddenly smoked and died out like a dud. One by one, all the turrets malfunctioned at the same moment, utterly unable to hinder the attacking tribal alliance. Saul led the charge, opening fire on the chaotic faction members. In no time, numerous rounds fired towards the chaotic faction base; drones were shot down, scanners exploded, and men were shattered. The tribal alliance's forces were unstoppable, storming the base, leaving the chaotic faction utterly defenseless.

Panam set down her cannon, looked up at the night sky, searching everywhere for the figure she hoped to see. The vast night offered no clues. Tang Yu, hidden in the darkness, saw the chaotic faction base breached and finally withdrew, leaving the rest to Saul. After this battle, the Aldecaldo family was expected to face a brighter future. Turning towards another direction, Tang Yu saw neon lights piercing the sky, like a cage of light in the dark night, forming a world of its own. Feeling sufficiently recovered, Tang Yu loosened his muscles and, without hesitation, headed towards that glow.
