Wu Tan shook his head, "No."
"Oh." Shen Chuwei lowered her head to look at the food she had prepared, then raised her head again to look at Wu Tan, "Aside from the roasted rabbit that is meat, the Fried Dough Balls I made are vegetarian and they taste good when hot. Once they cool, they won't taste as good. You can eat first and then continue with your chanting, it will be the same."
Xiao Jinyan looked up at Shen Chuwei and then at Wu Tan, who sat there like a bell, retracted his gaze towards Shen Chuwei, "He's not a child, he will eat when he's hungry."
Shen Chuwei said, "But, the Fried Dough Balls won't be delicious once they've cooled."
Xiao Jinyan scoffed, "If he likes them cold, what business is it of yours?"
Shen Chuwei lowered her eyes to the steaming Fried Dough Balls. As a food lover, she knew the taste wasn't the same once they cooled down compared to when they were freshly out of the pan.
