Hazel took up the phone and glanced at it. She felt annoyed when she realized the call was from Chris.

Hazel thought, "Dad never calls me for something good. He must call me to talk about Lyra again."

Hazel did not want to answer Chris's call. Thus, she muted the phone and placed it aside.

"Sorry, the number you have dialed is currently unavailable…"

Amara cursed, "Damn it. Hazel didn't answer the phone!"

Chris said, "That's it. Hazel doesn't pick up the phone. Stop calling her again!"

However, Amara did not give up and kept calling Hazel.

Amara gave Hazel eight calls in a row. Hazel couldn't take it anymore and finally picked it up.

"Hi, Dad!" said Hazel.

When Amara realized Hazel picked up the phone, her eyes lit up. Then she hurriedly gave the phone to Chris and gave Chris a look to urge him to answer the phone now.
