"She ran away?" Nem asked. "More like you frightened her!"

"Right!" Lex agreed strongly. "Also, she was a daughter of Marquis and is hailed as a beauty in her region. Do you really think she will become our girlfriend?"

Nem's eyes turned teary as he expressed his sorrow: "Do you even know how difficult it is for me? My father always asks me if I found a girlfriend and when I say I haven't, he thinks I have some issue with my attractiveness. He even began sending me height enhancing pills so that I can grow taller and attract a girlfriend. Sometimes he even doubts his status as if his position as a marquis isn't enough for his son to have a girlfriend!"

Lex patted Nem's should to calm him down.

"Now there is only one solution!" Lex said with determination.

"And what is it?" Kaen inquired.

"It's simple. Since you don't want a girlfriend, don't attend these dates!" Lex suggested.
