With Venti's Gnosis now safe, Gojo takes a moment to exhale, a sense of relief washing over him.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Those Fatui sure know how to complicate things. Glad I could help out," he remarks, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any lingering threats.
(Venti) : "You've truly saved the day, Gojo. Your skills are remarkable. I can't help but be curious—what brings someone like you to Mondstadt?" The Traveler and Paimon look at Gojo with newfound curiosity, eager to understand the enigmatic figure that crossed their paths.
(Mizu as Gojo) : Maintaining a mysterious aura, I respond with, "I am from Snezhnaya, on a quest to find my sibling, Killua. It seems our paths have intertwined for now."
The Traveler and Paimon exchange surprised glances, realizing the striking coincidence in their goals.
(Paimon) : Paimon blurts out, "Wait, you're searching for a lost sibling too? That's exactly what we're doing! What are the odds?!" The Traveler, intrigued by the shared journey, nods in agreement, prompting a sense of connection among the trio bound by a common quest.
(Mizu as Gojo) : Gojo subtly smirks at the unexpected connection. "Well, seems like fate has a sense of humor," he remarks.
Despite the coincidence, I kept me true goal hidden. After all, I really want to be friend with the Traveler and Paimon. Who doesn't want to be friends with them, am I right?
(Paimon) : With a spark of excitement, Paimon suddenly suggests, "Hey, Gojo! Since we're all searching for lost siblings, how about joining us on our journey? Strength in numbers, right?" The Traveler looks at Gojo, intrigued by the prospect of having a skilled ally in their quest.
(Mizu as Gojo) : After a brief pause, I grinned and say, "Why not? It seems like our paths are aligned for now. Let's see where this journey takes us." I acknowledged the shared adventure with the Traveler and Paimon.
Us trio, now united by a common purpose, seem to be a unique and unfair combo, but hey, as long as it's fun!
(Mizu as Gojo) : Trying to shift the conversation, I directed my blindfolded gaze at Venti. "This conversation aside, tell us, Venti, what is a Gnosis?"
(Venti) : Venti, acknowledging the inquiry, responds with a wry smile, "Ah, so you noticed." With a sigh, he conveys, "This isn't something I'm meant to discuss with ordinary people. But I suppose I can let you in on a little secret." The Traveler, Paimon, and I lean in, eager to know despite I already know what it is. "As you know, Visions are external magical foci that only a small minority of people possess. They use these Visions to channel elemental power," Venti explains as the trio listens intently, absorbing the knowledge of the elemental forces.
(Venti) : "In truth, every wielder of a Vision is one who can attain godhood and ascend to Celestia. We call such people allogenes," Venti continues, revealing a connection between the bearers of Visions and Celestia.
Though I already know it, hearing it upfront makes it way more exciting and mysterious. It's even unknown to players how Visions are given and what their true capabilities are.
(Paimon) : "Allogenes? Paimon's never heard of them before," Paimon remarks, her tiny voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of surprise.
(Venti) : "Hehe, that's because this is a secret that only Archons are privy to. We don't need primitive tools like Visions," Venti responds with a giggle. "Instead, each Archon has an internal magical force that resonates directly with Celestia itself... Known as Gnosis," Venti explains, unraveling the connection between the Archons and the Gnosis they hold.
(Lumine) : The Traveler points at Venti's hip and asks, "What about the thing hanging off your hip?"
Whoa?! I was surprised by the realization that the Traveler can speak more freely than in the game. Though I didn't show my expression, of course.
(Venti) : "Eh-he. It's just a glowing glass ball I carry around to avoid suspicion," Venti responds with a playful grin.
(Lumine) : "I feel cheated... But I guess I'm used to that by now," the Traveler remarks, a touch of wry humor in her tone.
(Paimon) : "So who was that nasty woman who sent Paimon flying and tried to steal your Gnosis?" Paimon asks Venti, her curiosity evident in her voice.
(Venti): "Her name is Signora, No. 8 of the Harbingers." Venti responded with an angry face. "She and the rest of the Harbingers have been given god-like executive authority by the Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya, and with it, strength surpassing that of other mortals," Venti explains further, emphasizing the formidable nature of the Fatui's high-ranking enforcers.
(Paimon) : "The Tsaritsa of Snezhnaya? Isn't that-" Before Paimon finishes her sentence, Gojo interrupts.
(Mizu as Gojo) : Pretending to be surprised, I raise my eyebrow, "Wait, OUR Archon? I didn't expect her to do this.."
(Venti) : "Yeah.. The Seven don't always get along well, but still - I never thought that she would plot to steal another Archon's Gnosis," Venti says, a hint of sadness in his voice. "If it wasn't for Gojo, my Gnosis would be taken away. Thank you, truly. The loss of a Gnosis is not a fate I wish to face. After all, I'm the weakest out of all the Seven," he adds, a touch of vulnerability in his voice. Venti expresses his gratitude towards Gojo for preventing the loss of his Gnosis.
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Guess even the Archons themselves have their vulnerabilities. No need to thank me, Venti. I was there at the right time," The acknowledgment of Venti's weakness adds a layer of understanding of him.
(Venti) : "Anyway, you three should go ahead for Mondstadt's neighboring nation of Liyue. The Geo Archon who reigns there, unlike me, administrates his entire region personally," advises Venti, guiding the Traveler and the others toward their next destination. "He only descends once every year to give his divine predictions, which set the direction for Liyue for the rest of that year," Venti adds, providing insight into the unique role of the Geo Archon in governing Liyue.
(Paimon) : "Even so, it sounds like he works much better than a certain someone," Paimon remarks, playfully teasing Venti.
(Venti) : "Eh-he~" The light tease lightens the atmosphere after what just happened awhile ago. "In any case, this year's Rite of Descension is soon to begin. If you miss it, you'll just have to wait another year," Venti mentions, emphasizing the significance of the upcoming event in Liyue.
(Paimon) : "WHAT?! Why didn't you tell us before? Well then, bye! Traveler and Gojo-san, we're going!" Paimon exclaims, ready to dash off with them. After all, knowing the time-sensitive nature of their journey, they must be quick.
(Venti) : However, just as they intend to leave, Venti interjects, "One moment, Windborne Outlander." The sudden halt leaves the trio curious.
(Lumine) : "You mean me?" said the Traveler, seeking clarification from Venti.
(Venti) : "Yup," Venti confirms. "Traveler, as you set off on your journey once again, you must remember that the journey itself has meaning. The birds of Teyvat, the songs and the cities, the Tsaritsa, her Fatui, and the monsters... They are all part of your journey," Venti imparts his words, carrying a weight of wisdom and foresight.
(Venti) : "The destination is not everything. So before you reach the end, keep your eyes open. Use the chance to take on the world around you," advises Venti, his words carrying a deeper meaning.
(Lumine) : "Venti.. I understand." The Traveler understands his words, realizing that the journey itself holds valuable experiences beyond the ultimate goal.
Paimon and Gojo nod in agreement, understanding the significance of savoring every moment in the vast and magical lands of Teyvat.
(Venti) : "Great. So that's that for the Anemo Archon's admonishments! Back to Venti Time!" Says Venti, his playful demeanor returning. "If you want to chat, now's the time - a bard stays not always in a single clime," Venti says to the Traveler, inviting a moment of conversation.
(Mizu as Gojo) : 'The Traveler, Lumine, is going to ask about Dvalin, the Abyss Order, Signora, deities and her sibling Aether..' I thought, seeing that the Traveler asking Venti what I just exactly thought.
(Venti) : After the Traveler asks the questions, Venti looks Gojo. There's a curiosity in the Anemo Archon's eyes as he turns to the blindfolded man, "And what about you, Gojo? What tales do you carry from your nation?" Venti's interest sparks a moment of anticipation.
(Mizu as Gojo) : In response to Venti's questions, Gojo, maintaining a degree of mystery, says, "I've been around, exploring different places while being an Adventurer, you know how it is. Came to Mondstadt and found myself in this situation. Adventures and surprises seem to follow me, or maybe I follow them." He grins, leaving the details of his past deliberately vague.
(Venti) : "I see. That's interesting to know~" With a playful expression, Venti asks another question, "What's with the blindfold, if you don't mind me asking?"
(Mizu as Gojo) : "Well, you see, if I were to remove this blindfold, the sheer handsomeness of mine might overwhelm everyone around. Gotta keep things balanced, you know?" The Traveler, Paimon, Venti and myself shares a light chuckle, the whimsical response adding a touch of humor to peaceful scene.
With banter and laughter lingering in the air at Windrise, the trio sets forth on their adventure to Liyue.
(Mizu as Gojo) : 'Now.. How should I make an awesome situation once I arrive in Liyue? Not only that, I want to impress the Traveler and Paimon as well. There are many possibilities!'
I'm sorry if this is a short one~! I don't have any idea. Any idea suggestions? Comment down please! I would appreciate it! ʕ>ᴥ<ʔ
