"Phew…" Elizabeth mused to herself, as she made her way back to the fortress. "That was quite easy," she kept thinking to herself, as she hurried through the night. At some point, it had felt like she had heard someone coming through the door, but she had managed to make it out through the back.
She had wanted to head straight to the fortress, when she remembered that she had lured Sheila out to with that letter. "Poor fool…" she hated the fact that she had to meet with the maid whom he felt like she owed no explanation for whatever she did.
It was time to do away with the veil that she had on her face, as it would come off as suspicious to the alpha's men. There wasn't any need of hiding any more, as the deed had been done. She was already imagining what Maya's mourning of her child would look like.
