Kapitel 1: The Last Beginning
"Wake up, Sam. You're gonna be late for school." My mom said and tapped me one more time.
I sat up on my bed and wiped sleep out of my eyes.
I looked at the alarm clock beside my bed, and it was turned off.
[..THAT explains why I didn't wake up on time..].
I looked at the wall clock at the far end of the room.
8:47am
. [At least I didn't miss the new students orientation]
"Go get ready. I'll make breakfast." The beautiful brunette that birthed me said with a smile, and left my room.
I got up and walked to the bathroom. After taking a shower, I went to my dressing mirror. Now, most girls spend hours in front of their mirrors styling their hair, touching up their makeup, and all that boring stuff. But, I prefer to do none of those things. I wanna be all cool, savage, and anti-hero like.
But, my best friend Crystal says demigoddesses like us are meant to be beautiful, elegant, and brave all at the same time.
....I know what you're thinking;

....Well, yeah.... demigoddess
I'm the daughter of an evil fire god, Fotià, who ruled The Transcendent Realm for five centuries, before getting betrayed and dethroned by his evil stepbrother, Lord Kakó, the overlord of evil.
Fotià eventually turned good, defeated Kakó, married my mother and they produced me. Therefore making me a half god, half human(demigoddess).
I looked at my table to be sure if I forgot anything, and I realised I did. I picked up Eridaph, my trusty sword. It was in form of a hair pin, so I placed it in my hair.
I picked up my bag and walked to the dining and saw my mom leaning over my breakfast. "Are you ready for school?" She asked as she squirted whip cream over my waffles.
"Yeah....I am." I lied.
.....Okay, to be honest, human school is somewhere I WOULDN'T wanna go, and it's because of one good reason.
Staying in the human realm makes me live two different lives.
In The Transcendent Realm, I'm known as Samantha; daughter of Fotià, the fire god. Sam for short.
But in the human realm, I'm known as Annabeth Flourens; daughter of Cecilia Flourens, a single mother who owns the most popular bakery in New York. Ann, Anna or Beth for short.
Mom looked at me from my foot to my hair, then she frowned.
"Really? You're taking Eridaph with you?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.
"Mom, we've been through this. Evil never sleeps. I've gotten be armed at all times." I reasoned.
"I know, but..... people are gonna find out who you are."
"They won't. It'll be fine." I said and she was calm. "Mr. and Mrs. Chris are looking forward to seeing you again. Since your last meeting with them didn't go so well." She said and I suddenly felt guilty.
Mr. and Mrs. Chris were this couple that pays so much unnecessary attention to I and my mom, but to me.... something's just not right about them.
Anyways, the meeting mom was talking about was the one time they invited me for lunch, and that seemed like the worst time for my mint-in-soda prank which was explosive.
So, they got me a scholarship to West Crest High School, and THAT'S where I'm going.
"Bye, mom." I said, picked up a waffle and headed for the door.
"Goodbye Annabeth." She said with a wink and I smiled.
